Since Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda brought their exemplary stable of time-sink RPGs to the service, Game Pass has built a rock-solid core of forever titles you can always count on being ready to install.įrom there, it continues to swap in quality indies and in addition to Microsoft’s first and second party games. So really, the question isn’t ‘what are the best games on Game Pass,’ but rather, ‘how do I narrow them down’? While that doesn't mean go out and get 'Unlimited Stacks!' which allows you to stack up to 999 of all items, having something that makes quest items, logs, and hierlooms stack to a higher value is a needed quality of life change, imo.There are dozens of fantastic things to play on Game Pass, both on the family of Xbox consoles and PC. the reality of it is that all it does is make the game more tedious, forcing the player to do more runs to collect the required amount of resources to build the next building or purchase the next upgrade. While some may argue that having such limited inventory space forces you to consider the potential value of certain objects and make difficult decisions on what you should keep in your bags and what you should drop by the wayside. The lack of stacking of quest items and campfire logs combined with the low stack value of Heirlooms (3/6/6/12) is just painful. Go through the workshop and simply go find skins you find interesting looking and download them. No longer will you employ an army of clones that simply have slightly different tastes in color selection. With out changing any single part of the core game - these mods makes it a lot easier to pick out which heroes you want to send on specific missions because they will visually look different then every one else.
